The Totoro Forest Project is a fundraiser that Dice Tsutsumi, Yukino Page, Enrico Casarosa, and Ronnie Del Carmen headed up to raise money to save the Sayama Forest in Japan, the forest that served as an inspiration to Miyazaki’s Totoro! For more information on the auction and fundraiser go here. Here are some sketches I did for Dice to help with the website design and logo.

New Painting

A quick value study for an idea for a story about blue collar workers building robots, I was interested in the scale of the space and how the hot poured metal would look.

It is a study for an upcoming event, this is one of the studies that won’t end up being a finished painting.  I plan to paint an actual painting with ‘real’ media when I get a study I am happy with!

Little Red

Brush

A baby mural painted for little Josephine born on March 7, 2007!  Daniel and Robert painted it last year, before she was born, in the nursery of her parents’ house.  There is a socket in the bottom middle of the painting that can help to indicate the size of the painting.  The subject of the mural came from her father’s love for old hot rods and cars.
