The only request for the painting was that it have a boy and a red umbrella in it. I haven't painted with real media in a while, and it was a lot of fun to get the paints out. I've included the digital thumb I did and the digital color study. The final ended up having a lot of things that I was trying to do in the studies, digitally I find myself manufacturing a lot of the 'happy accidents' that occur naturally with actual paint! I hope to paint more in the months to come! Thanks, Rich!

It's been a long time since the last post. Here is a piece from a Street Fighter group show at Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, California. The idea came from a friend, who is much more familiar with the Street Fighter world than I am. The painting is ink and wash with charcoal. Jab Fierce Strong
